Standard Job Description:
We are seeking curriculum developers (instructional system designers) to develop storyboards for production of computer based training (e-Learning) for technical maintenance courses for a United States Navy contract. Successful candidates will work in tandem with others to build storyboards. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a major government contractor on state of the art technology. The following skills are required:
- Recent experience in developing storyboards for interactive Computer-Based Training.
- Experience in designing IT curriculum and courseware development.
- Comprehensive understanding of Instructional Systems Design methods.
- Must be able to follow prescribed development methods and defined development standards.
- Strong ability to interpret technical information into easy to understand procedures.
- Two years of related experience as course developer and technical trainer.
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Candidates must be U.S. citizens able to obtain a Secret level security clearance.
- Recent experience entering storyboard data into curriculum development software tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, energized, team environment with subject matter experts, multi-media designers and instructional systems designers.
- Understanding of MIL-STD design and development including the Navy Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) system.
- Knowledge and implementation of the Navy Integrated Learning Environment (ILE) standards and specifications.
- Knowledge of SCORM.
- Knowledge of basic computer networking preferred and/or sonar a plus.
Contract Terms: 40 hours/week, onsite
